Synology DS1515+ & DX513 Expansion Unit Review

We used a CEM-8852 Sound DB Meter, installed 50 cm away from the NAS, for these measurements. Ambient noise in our lab was below 30 dBA while these noise measurements were taken.
Although both units use exactly the same fans, the ones in the DS1515+ were kept at low speeds, so their output noise was lower.
