The Media Server application allows you to stream multimedia files in specified NAS folders on DLNA/UPnP compatible devices. You can also add more specified folders.
Resource Monitor
Monitor your system's resources through Resource Monitor, including CPU usage, memory usage, disk utilization, and network transfer speeds. You can monitor resources in real time or view bygone data.
The Process tab shows each process's CPU and memory usage.
The Connected Users tab, as it name implies, lists all currently connected users. You can export this list, kill specified connections, or disable a user if you are an evil administrator!
View and manage file-transfer processes and apply speed limits to these processes in the Speed Limit tab. You can also update these lists or kill specific file transfers completely.
The Settings tab allows you to enable usage history and set the real-time duration.
Log Center
According to Synology, Log Center is a centralized log-management application with a comprehensive set of tools to accomplish the following tasks easily and efficiently:
- Send and receive logs from other network devices via the syslog logging standard
- Monitor log volume according to device and time
- Specify log archival destination and create rules to automatically trigger log archival
- Search for and filter local logs and logs received from other network devices
- Send notifications to administrator(s) when specified events occur

File a support ticket over Support Center should you need help with your NAS, or to have Synology support engineers run remote diagnostics on your NAS to help you resolve a problem.
