Even though it does not look like much when compared to the other PSUs in the test group, an above 80% efficiency rating is an excellent result for any power supply.
Standby Power Consumption
To measure this number we connect the power supply to our voltage stability testing rig and turn on the PSU's main power switch but do not power up the system. This is the typical state when your PC is switched "off" unless you use a switchable power extension cord.
Fan Noise
Tagan has done a formidable job with the fan. It is very quiet under both and idle which allows use of this power supply in a media PC.
