Seat Base
The base with the seat is 56 cm wide and deep. Its height from the floor ranges from 37–45 cm (22.05 x 22.05 x 14.56–17.71 "). Total height of the chair ranges from 124 to 132 cm (48.81 to 51.96 "). Raised edges run along both sides of the backrest. However, these raised edges reduce the usable area to 39 cm (15.35"). Also, the lumbar-support cushion decreases the usable depth of the seat by approximately 16 cm (6.29"), leaving only 40 cm (15.74"). That having been said, 40 cm (15.74") should still be enough for most users. The only problem here is the low maximum height from the floor, which tall users might find difficult to work with.
Tiny holes for better ventilation cover the primary area of the seat in triangular patterns. There is plenty of foam for a stable and soft sitting experience. Blue "cords" runs alongside the main part of the seat, and blue as a highlight is again found as part of both raised edges.
Under The Seat Base
Three metal bars—two larger and one smaller—have been put under the base for extra structural integrity, protection, and comfort. A small knob that regulates the rocking mechanism's resistance based on the person's weight has also been put under the base of the seat. By turning it clockwise, the resistance loosens or tightens.
A multi-lever can be used to release or lock the rocking mechanism. You can also use it to adjust the chair's height.
Neck And Lumbar Support
Two complimentary cushions for extra support to the neck and lumbar regions are included with the Alphaeon S1. The smaller of these with a single strap either goes through the plastic opening in the headrest or around it. It is embellished with embroidered triangles on each side, and the company name in blue thread. It does not use memory foam, which means it isn't all that squishy.
The other cushion also has embroidered blue triangles and four straps with safety buckles on each end. The middle of the backrest is not stable, so the four straps are secured behind it by going through the interior. This approach hides the straps and allows the lumbar-support cushion to move up and down nicely.
Armrests
The 3D armrests are well padded and feel very soft to my arms. Each armrest is 9 cm wide and 25 cm deep (3.54 x 9.84 ").
Each armrest's height can be adjusted by pressing a button on the armrest; each armrest can also be moved backward and forward, and rotates sideways. A metal bar in a dark color makes these height adjustments possible.
Five-Star Base, Gas Lift And Caster Wheels
The five-star metal base is covered in matte black paint and seems durable enough for 120 kg (264.55 lb). For height adjustments, a smoothly operating class-4 gas lift is utilized. The caster wheels measure 60 mm (2.36") across. They feel stable and move well on demand.
