Exterior

This NAS is small because it can only accommodate two disks and uses an external PSU (a power brick). Next to the trays at the front are several LED indicators, a highly useful USB (3.0) port, and the copy and power buttons.

A yellow sticker on the side urges you to review the product's notes before using it for the first time. Well, this is good advice, especially when it comes to NAS servers, given a NAS might also be a little more complicated to use than other IT equipment. On the bottom are the four plastic feet and a small label for its power specifications and various certifications.

Around the back are more sockets. These consist of two Ethernet Gigabit ports, an HDMI port, DisplayPort, SPDIF, two USB 3.0 ports, and a Kensington security slot.

The trays feature locks, which is a major advantage, especially for business environments.

The trays are mostly made out of plastic, with only their front portion that houses the lock being out of metal.
