Installation

Installing the cooler is a rather simple affair on AMD. To start with install the fans on the radiator, so you can daisy-chain them together and connect the extension cable. With that done, you then need to remove the plastic AMD motherboard brackets and install the mounting bolts.

Next, secure the mounting brackets to the bolts using the nuts and tighten them down with the included tool. After that, if you are using the pre-applied paste, you can install the pump block, if not clean the paste off and apply your preferred thermal paste before mounting the block to the CPU.

Now install the radiator and fans in the chassis and plug everything in. The ARGB fan hub makes this a bit easier since you can relocate it to a better location and route your cables as needed.

Overall, the installation is pretty straightforward on AMD and Intel, with no major hurdles or headache-inducing design choices. That said, the manual does have an error where it specifies the wrong mounting bolts on the AMD platform. It lists Intel's LGA2011 bolts instead of the universal ones for mainstream Intel / AMD platforms. If following the directions it's easy enough to spot, but is something that should have been caught before the manuals were printed.
