Valkyrie V-Lite 360 AIO
Valkyrie also sent us their V-Lite 360 mm AIO. It ships in a full color, shrink-wrapped package. A cord has been embedded in the top for easy transport, which is a pretty unique detail.
The unit actually come pre-assembled and secured using foam inside the package - just like the VK02. The unboxing experience feels much better than the cardboard inserts most other AIOs use. On top of that, the small parts for the cooler also ship in a resealable branded bag which positively adds to the initial impression of the brand and product.
The mounting hardware includes both AMD and Intel kits. While the approach taken to for the AIO pump mount is similar to what we have seen from outer brands, the design and tooling of these parts is unique to Valkyrie. On top of the necessities you will also receive clamps to manage tubing inside the chassis, additional screws for mounting flexibility as well as some Velcro strips. Some warranty paperwork and a manual round things off.
Taking a look at the AIO, having the fans pre-installed and pre-wired greatly reduces the work you need to do yourself. While the fans do use proprietary connectors to daisy-chain together in a pretty clean fashion, the end converts the wiring to the usual PWM and ARGB plug so that you may connect them to your motherboard without issue.
The pump housing comes with an ARGB equipped cover which exposes a bit of PCB and some electrical components. That is a pretty nifty looking design, even though this is all purely cosmetic as you can pop it off to reveal just the three pins for ARGB. The magnetic design allows you to install the pump any orientation you like and then snap on the visual top correctly as well. While Valkyrie also includes a small tube of thermal paste, the AIO base has some already pre-applied. It is clear that they have put some thought into making the initial assembly experience as easy as possible, which is a nice touch.
Each of the three fans sports hub mounted ARGB elements and plenty of visual design elements to stand out a bit, while the radiator is pretty traditional but does have clean, edgy end caps to ensure it all looks as tidy as possible.
