Packaging
Aside from the mouse, one finds a wireless dongle and USB Type-C to Type-A charging cable in the box.
Weight
My scale shows around 72 g (+/- 1 g), which is slightly less than the weight cited by VAXEE. The AX Wireless is 9 g lighter than the wired AX, but struggles to compete with competitors such as the Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro at 62, which is larger and also has neither holes nor an open-bottom design, or the LAMZU Thorn, which does have an open-bottom design, and weighs even less at 54 g. A good weight overall.
Cable
The AX Wireless comes with a paracord-like, braided charging cable (USB Type-C to Type-A). The cable has an anchor on the mouse-end of the cable, along with a slightly angled connector to potentially reduce cable drag. In terms of flexibility, the cable is no different from the cable of the wired XE or XE Wireless, and roughly on par with the Zowie EC3-C cable. Accordingly, playing while charging is possible without feeling overly restrictive. Its measured length is 2 m. A ferrite bead is attached, which reduces signal noise, and the USB Type-A connector is gold-plated.
Feet
The feet on the AX Wireless are white-dyed pure PTFE (Teflon) feet with slightly rounded edges. Glide is very good and thickness average. The ring around the sensor ensures CPI stay consistent upon applying vertical pressure. The shape of the skates is unchanged compared to the wired AX.
