XPG has released a solid product with the Levante 240 AIO. It doesn't truly excel in any particular category but instead acts as a jack of all trades. Cooling performance is good, not great, falling in line with the Noctua NH-D15S when it comes to air coolers, while tying or trading blows with many other closed-loop coolers. As such, while it does little to stand out on the performance front, it at least doesn't fall flat on its face. Noise output wasn't bad at lower RPM values. However, with the fans hitting 2200, which is in line with the 2000 RPM +/-10%, the fans are rated for, it is no wonder it hit 48 dBA in our tests. Anything below 45 dBA is bearable in our experience, as a proper chassis will dampen noise to some degree over our open test bench. In this case, the performance on offer, while good, came at the expense of noise. With the fans spinning at 2000–2100 RPM that noise reading dropped to 47 dBA. That said, these noise levels are typical for closed-loop coolers in general.

I would describe the unit's build quality as above average, and I found no real issues other than the fact that the base has extremely visible machining marks, which does not impact performance. Memory and graphics card clearance was perfect as well, but that is normal as Asetek-based designs seldom have problems in this regard. When looking at the total package, the general feel of the product is that it is of decent quality with little to nothing to complain about, especially since XPG is confident enough to give the Levante 240 a 5-year warranty, which helps make up a bit for its somewhat high price tag.

Of course, it wouldn't be an all-in-one liquid cooler without ARGB lighting, and XPG doesn't disappoint here. The illumination of the ARGB LEDs is fairly uniform and exceeded my expectations. Granted, not everyone will be thrilled with the higher cost that comes with ARGB lighting, but it could have been worse, and XPG does include extension cables and more. They do not include a manual way to control the LEDs, however, so your motherboard must have a 5 V header.

In general, the XPG Levante 240 is a solid performer that goes big on looks without it severely impacting performance. While it doesn't distinguish itself from the massive number of liquid coolers available when it comes to temperatures or noise, it does come with a stellar warranty for peace of mind.
