Packaging, Weight, Cable and Feet

Packaging

The M4 comes in a tight little box that includes a set of replacement mouse feet, a sticker, a quick start guide, and two Xtrfy-themed keycaps. These keycaps are different for each color variant, which may be of interest for collectors.

Weight

My scale shows around 72 g (+/- 1 g) with a bit of cable, which is an excellent result. Xtrfy indicates 69 g w/o the cable, which appears to be accurate based on this result. For those wondering, RGB lighting is done through a single strip which disperses the light from the PCB-mounted LEDs, so the weight added by the inclusion of RGB lighting is quite minor.

Cable

The M4 comes with a braided yet flexible "paracord" style cable, which Xtrfy likes to call "EZcord." In terms of flexibility, it's still below an actual paracord (largely due to having shielding, unlike the former) and largely on par with the other paracord-style cables from competitors (Glorious Model O, Dream Machines DM1 FPS, etc). The cable does retains its shape a bit, but that can actually be considered beneficial as it's less likely to rub on a pad with stitched edges that way. I'd consider the cable non-bothersome both with and without a mouse bungee. The length is 1.8 m (measured). The cable has a ferrite bead attached to it, which helps reduce noise, as well as a gold-plated USB connector.

Feet

The M4 features 100% (>99%) PTFE (Teflon) feet. Feet made out of 100% PTFE should last longer and provide a smoother glide. Additionally, the edges of the feet on the M4 are rounded, which results in an excellent glide. Due to their above average thickness they should also last quite a while. These are some of the best stock feet I've seen on a mouse thus far.

Xtrfy provides a set of replacement feet in each box, which also includes a sensor ring that can be applied optionally. Furthermore, I've been told that Xtrfy will be selling the feet for the M4 directly as well.
