Zalman is well known for its cooling products and the NC2000 does work quite well. The design ensures that as much area is actively cooled as possible. The sleek design certainly looks great and the ability to adjust fan speed is a welcome addition. The Macbook Pro is a tough notebook to cool, as it does not have any airvents on the underside, but the NC2000 works quite well. The only downside is in fact the unit's bottom. While the aluminum top looks great, the plastic does feel a bit flimsy. The same goes for the feet and plastic compartment for the USB cable. Nonetheless, the unit does its job well and will work perfectly with 15.4" notebooks, just make sure your notebook makes contact with the strip, so it will stay in place nicely.
