Introduction
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is the newest offering in Ubisoft's long-running Ghost Recon series. Unlike the previous title, the now defunct Ghost Recon Phantoms, Ubisoft has chosen to go big by taking the series open world for the first time. In Wildlands, Ubisoft has delivered an amazingly detailed game world that reacts to the player's choices and even gives them the freedom to take on missions in the order of their preference. Also included is excellent multiplayer co-op support for up to four players.
Set in Bolivia, Latin America, the game sets up the player as part of an elite US Special Operations team referred to as "The Ghosts". As part of the Ghosts, players seek to take down the immensely powerful Santa Blanca Mexican drug Cartel. How? By breaking the alliance between the Cartel and the corrupt government by any means necessary.
During the course of the game, players will visit iconic locations in Bolivia, including the Salar de Uyuni salt flats and the infamous Yungas "Death Road". In addition, there are mountains, deserts, and rain forests which dot the landscape for good measure. Exploring the varied locales and villages in this lush and vibrant game world is definitely a feast for the eyes if you have the GPU to handle it.
