The shape of the Kone Pure Owl-Eye matches that of previous Kone mice exactly. If you ever held a Kone Pure Optical or Kone Pure Military, you will already be familiar with it.

The shape feels very good in general, but for my hands (20 cm x 9 cm), it is a bit small for an ergonomic mouse. I grip it more like an ambidextrous mouse.




Above, you can see how I hold the mouse. I ran the mouse through a few evenings in Overwatch and realized that the shape is too small for me unfortunately. In the picture at the bottom, you can see that my pinky is stretched flat against the outward curve, which causes some discomfort after a while. I could still use the mouse fine, but there are other shapes that better suit my hand.

Actual weight

The weight is even lower than the rated value of 88 g on my scale, which is a very good thing in my opinion.

In my review of the Kone EMP, I criticized its heavy weight of 116 g, but the Kone Pure Owl-Eye sits right in the sweet spot with its weight of 88 g for me, though it is also a lot smaller, of course.
