The package doesn't feature fancy graphics, which is totally fine with us because it protects the product inside well enough.


The router's most important specifications are listed on the back of the box.

Contents And Bundle

For extra protection inside the box, Synology uses a polyethylene foam wrap in combination with the hard cardboard box, which is more than enough.


The bundle includes the AC power adapter and a LAN cable. You will also find a quick installation guide inside.

The Router

At the front, we find ventilation holes in the bottom half, below three LED indicators above the middle. The top two LEDs are WiFi signal indicators, while the bottom one is for the system's status.


The router stands on a plastic base, so it does not take up much space horizontally.


The power specifications label also contains the serial number, pin code, and default password.


The USB 3.0 port and the LAN/WAN ports and power socket are at the back.


The power switch, WPS, WiFi, and reset buttons are also at the back.
