Team Group T-Force Night Hawk 3000 MHz DDR4 Review

Introduction

It has been a while since Team Group memory products have graced these pages, yet there could be no better time than now given what I have sitting here on my desk. Here are a couple sticks from Team Group, freshly launched under their new T-Force branding aptly called "Night Hawk". The day they arrived, my wife looked at them running in my test system and simply said, "they look like wings". Score one for Team Group.

Team Group has been around for a long time, 18 years in fact. Their memory products can be found at various major retailers around the globe, but they aren't commonly talked about in the newsgroups I frequent, including our own here on TPU. With what I have here, I hope to see that change.

With my system bathed in a gentle glow from the LEDs on these Night Hawk sticks from Team Group, a 10-layer PCB hidden behind the heavy aluminum heatspreaders, these 3000 MHz sticks are ready for a bit of punishment, carrying a voltage rating of 1.2-1.4 V. With Intel's Skylake and Z170 platform calling for 2133 MHz at default, these sticks are ready to help you push the maximum performance your system is capable of, and they look pretty darn good too. But enough talk, let's look at Team Group's T-Force Night Hawk DDR4.
