The SSSTC Lite-On SVZ SSD was a solid-state drive in the M.2 2280 form factor, launched in 2018, that is no longer in production. It is only available in the 128 GB capacity listed on this page. With the rest of the system, the SSSTC Lite-On SVZ SSD interfaces using a SATA 6 Gbps connection. The SSD controller is the SM2258H from Silicon Motion, a DRAM cache chip is available. SSSTC has installed 32-layer MLC NAND flash on the Lite-On SVZ SSD, the flash chips are made by YMTC. To improve write speeds, a cache is used, so bursts of incoming writes are soaked up more quickly. The Lite-On SVZ SSD is rated for sequential read speeds of up to 530 MB/s and 400 MB/s write; random IOPS reach up to 78K for reads and 58K for writes. The SSD's price at launch is unknown. The warranty length is set to five years, which is an excellent warranty period. The TBW rating for the SSSTC Lite-On SVZ SSD 128 GB is unknown, too.
