QIAN Launches the Ultrawide FHD 30-inch Curved Office Monitor for the Ultimate Viewing Experience

Qian, a leading global technology brand dedicated to generating innovative solutions, today announced the market launch of their latest solution for modern viewing and office use, the QIAN 30" ultrawide FHD curved office monitor. The monitor is built with an ultra-slim bezel and features a screen curvature of 1500R for the perfect viewing angle. Monitor resolution is presented in an ultrawide aspect ratio of 21:9, which increases the display area by approximately 30% over conventional monitors for more effortless multitasking and a more comprehensive viewing range.

The QIAN 30" ultrawide FHD curved monitor comes with a speedy 1 ms response time and 100 Hz refresh rate to reduce eye fatigue while providing the best visual experience. The adaptive-sync technology allows the monitor to adjust its refresh rate to match the frame rate of content rendered by the GPU for smoother video playback and flicker-free renderings. In addition, it is fully compatible with AMD and Nvidia graphic cards to provide advanced video entertainment. The QIAN 30" ultrawide FHD curved office monitor is optimized for document processing, multitasking, and 2D/3D visual creation in the office environment.
"The PC market concentrates too much on the monitor demands in gaming and overlooks the users in an office desperate for the ultimate visual solutions. Users in these settings often demand a better viewing experience, a quality picture and may not be able to support multiple monitors for multitasking. This Ultrawide 30" FHD curved office monitor is a great solution for these users and was created to provide the best visual experience across a wide variety of office situations and, most importantly, has a tremendous cost and performance ratio." So said Frank Lee, the VP of QIAN USA.

The QIAN 30" ultrawide FHD curved office monitor supports Adaptive-Sync technology, which is fully compatible with AMD and Nvidia graphic cards to maintain that every frame is displayed precisely without picture latency or tearing. In addition, the monitor features an advanced processing and controller chip that allows the screen to deliver more than 16.7 million colors in a higher dynamic range while covering around 95% of the DCI-P3 movie color gamut for a lifelike color and natural visibility.

In addition, the monitor supports an ultra-fast 1 ms response time, 100 Hz screen refresh rate, and low blue light technology. These advanced features ensure QIAN 30" ultrawide FHD curved office monitor can be optimized for long viewing sessions while preventing eye strain and promoting more comfortable productivity in the office. The monitor also supports an adjustable stand allowing the panel to tilt for an ideal viewing position. The tilt angle can be adjusted between 5° to the front and 15° to the back better to accommodate personal preference and the individual office environment.

The QIAN 30" ultrawide FHD curved office monitor is also built with PIP and PBP functionalities. The PIP (Picture-in-Picture) and PBP (Picture-by-Picture) functions allow the user options to display two separate visual signals at the same time simultaneously. The real-time visual sources from desktops/laptops or handheld electronic devices can be shared on the same monitor screen. These practical features are created to offer the best accessibility for multitasking at the office. Moreover, the 21:9 aspect ratio is perfect for displaying three different PDF documents on the screen simultaneously and can be handy functions for multiple word processing or editing.

QIAN 30" ultrawide FHD curved office monitor is built with an ultra-slim bezel design and high-quality panel for ultra-fast response time, refresh rate, color accuracy, and performance. The monitor is backed by the QIAN 3-year warranty and is now available through major US e-tailers.

Sooo....

What exactly is so "innovative" about a 30" widescreen monitor with a 3yr warranty anyways ? Oh do tell please !

It looks eerily similar to the somewhat better-known name brand screens that I on my desk right now :)

Neva heard of Qian... so I believe some caution is due before considering buying any of these, even for the office....

Yeah, it screams "budget gaming" and almost all of the specs are gaming-specific. I don't know why they didn't just market it as a gaming monitor because it actually looks alright.
  • 21:9 is a gaming, movie, and entertainment aspect ratio. It's notably not wide enough to get two regular applications side-by-side
  • 1500R is far to aggressive for working with CAD geometry or image/movie editing. Again, it's great for gaming.
  • 100Hz is good for gaming, and not good for productivity where 120Hz or 60Hz matter for working with video content.
  • Adaptive sync, for Office365 and Chrome? Really...?! /s
It's a good match for entry-level ultrawide gaming as long as it's priced sensibly. 2560x1080@100Hz is reasonably attainable in many games on a modest GPU like the RTX 3050 or similar. I'm not saying the 3050 is a good card to buy, but if it came in your prebuilt PC then there's no point buying an expensive 3440x1440 165Hz monitor because your GPU doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell.

For productivity, there's no shortage of flat, IPS ultrawides to suit any budget.
Flat is important, IPS is important.

Edit:
$209 - Yeah, that's a reasonable MSRP, if it doesn't suck.

Ahh so they address the lack of non gaming monitors by rebranding a gaming screen as office use. :)

100hz is such a weird refresh rate like others have said. If I want more refresh rate it would need to be 120 a multiple of 60.

It even uses that horrible base that has flooded the gaming monitor market as well.
