Cooler Master Unveils HAF 932 AMD Edition Case

Cooler Master is ready to ship the HAF 932 AMD Edition case. This case combines the popular case by the company with AMD Dragon Platform branding, which includes a fixed case-badge of the Phenom II processor on the front panel, fire-engine red front bezel, and AMD Dragon graphics printed on the window pane, which is now larger, and lacks the 230 mm fan. The intake and top fans are illuminated red. Besides these, the specifications remain the same as the original design: 243 by 560 by 564 mm full-ATX tower, with six 5.25" drive bays, detachable HDD racks, "high air-flow" ventilation that includes fan intakes on the front and bottom, with exhausts on the rear and top. Fans include 230 mm fans on the front and top, 140 mm exhaust on the rear. The Cooler Master HAF 932 AMD Edition has started to appear in the EU for around 165 EUR.

An AMD version, really?

Why no Intel version? Could be blue and cost 2x as much.
Or why no nVidia version? Could be green with over priced case fans.

CM has done NVIDIA editions of its popular cases in the past. Back when NVIDIA actually made new enthusiast platforms apart from selling GPUs.

Imagining HAF 932 with blue or green somehow makes it look ugly. HAF 932 has maintained a distinct red+black color scheme. This one steps up red even further.

The old, fugly side panel was one of the reasons I didn't get a HAF 932. This one looks incomparably better.

BTW, does it come with a filter for the intake fan now? I know CM was thinking of preparing some filters for the HAF series, but I never heard what happened to that idea...

Never been keen on the HAF let alone now.

I like the CM 690 (which came in an nVIDIA branded version) and the now discontinued Stacker series. Loved that chassis. They need to designs like that again imo.

The main difference between the side panels is this one doesn't have a place for a fan instead it's one big piece of acrylic. It really doesn't look much different.

If they were to make an nVidia version, it wouldn't be available yet!

I almost thought this was cool... that was before I noticed it's the 932, not 922.:slap:

I thought AMD had a green logo?
Anyway the front panel is horrid not terrible but not nice either.
I like simple cases elegant, i dont want to go back to the early 2000s with all the plastic and weird looking cases.

Meh

Its alright. I have the 932. I love it. An nvidia edition wouldn't be bad. I just want the large fans w/ green leds. I mentioned it to them and they said there probably wouldn't be high demand for them. I have green lights inside and it looks x-mas all yr long. lol. It would have helped them if they continued the color theme inside like all black with red locks on the 3.5's or vise versa. I don't care much for the amd logo. Who even still uses those stickers that come w/ the cpu's anyways? Kinda limits who buys it off ya when done. No Intel guys. lol. I just wish it first came out w/ black interior. O well.

Looks nice...but they should have painted the interior.

Probably holding off on that so that they can come out with *another* version.

Well damn that is sexy. Now they need to let users like me trade their haf 932 in for like a credit and pay 20 bucks plus shipping to get the case. DAMN!

Am i the only one to observe that it lacks the mesh in the HDD front 230mm fan???
I agree it looks nice but it will collect TONS of dust...Mine does even when the mesh prevents LOTS of dust to enter...
Except this it REALLY LOOKS NICE!!

My case came with Mesh and I don't use them. (Partly cause it restricts air flow the more dust it collects and I OC alot)

This case does look pretty sweet and I'm glad its not all red. I've always wanted a HAF but I'm happy with my CM 832

There isn't really anything special to this case besides the exterior paint, side window and the Phenom II X4 logo on the front.

Why would they make a intel or nvidia version? Those are two different companies that are actually competitors of each other. Intel develops it's own graphics hardware and desktop platforms as well as cpus. Nvidia develops gpus and desktop platforms. ATI/AMD are the same company... they offer gpus, desktop platforms and cpus. It would make more sense to use a company that offers it all.
