Spire Corp. today officially launched its new TherMax Eclipse towering CPU Cooler. Following up to the success of the original TherMax we're proudly intruducing the TherMax Eclipse. Powered by Innovation and with awesome looks this CPU Cooler is one supreme performer. The TherMax Eclipse is ready to best cool the 130W and upcoming extreme hot 130W Micro-processors.
Universally compatible with the Intel 1156/1366/775 platforms in combination with the AMD AM3/AM2/940/939 platforms giving professionals and gamers a huge scope to utilize this impressive diablo. Another welcome new feature are the possibility of mounting two fans simultaneously for even better cooling results. must be from the same manufacturer .... :confused: ... just showcased differently by different companies .... :rolleyes:
I've been using an OEM version of this cooler for some time (same except for the fan and it's not nickel coated like this and the IceAge).
It's this is the one, it's £22 + VAT as part of our systems:
On 775 and 1156 you only get full contact with upto 4 heatpipes due to the smaller IHS but AM2 and 1366 CPUs cover more of the base plate.
Performance is not compromised and it cannot be beaten on price/performance and you can always get an extra 3-10C out of it with a pair of fans using the extra set of mounts provided. Preliminary testing shows that this cooler can take an i9 to 4GHz. 730g
