CoolIT Intros Freezone Elite V2 CPU TEC Cooler
CoolIT silently introduced its newest CPU pre-assembled thermoelectric couple water-cooling kit, the Freezone Elite V2. Like the Freezone Elite, the new cooler comprises of a CPU water-block with factory fitted water loop connecting a reservoir, pump, and radiator. Its CPU block has a nickel-plated copper base, its retention modules support sockets LGA775, LGA1366, and AM3/AM2+. Its pump can circulate 210 litres per hour with a noise output of under 15 dBA. Heat is dissipated in a 121 x 82 x 65 mm aluminum radiator, cooled by a 120 mm dual-ball bearing fan that spins at 1100 to 2500 rpm. The CoolIT Freezone Elite V2 should be available soon at a price of 339.99 EUR.

why didn't they have the pump on the block like the other models, it allows a much more powerful pump to be fitted : /
@ above its a TEC water cooler, not just a water cooler. It is still over priced mind you.
I see MK is on viewing the thread, not sure if you read what I posted somewhere else, but the barbs are now metal by the way.
remember it, but not the pump it had. The new corsair has a D5 or DDC pump?
I always thought Coolit made, well.... Cool looking stuff. I like the idea of the TEC cooling, but thay are so damn expensive not to mention loud. They did have some really nice gpu full blocks this year at some of the trade shows.
I think they really need to find their niche market. Their top end stuff is not good enough for extreme cooling and their low end stuff is less than stellar, and worse than a high end heatsink w/fan. The Domino was around long enough to be destroyed, price and performance wise by the Corsair improved Asetek -all in one.
I'd much rather build my own. But, for those who cannot this could be an alternative if the price where around 200.00 US. But I'll wait to see reviews.
Holy crap are US dollar is getting so weak!!!
If they converted prices one to one this thing is 667.00 US!!!!!
I still use my zalman reserator version 1. this baby is so good that no other cooling can match it at the same noise (quiet) level. This is because the reserator is a passively cooled watercooling system. I can't believe my water cooling kit is over 5 yrs old and still a benchmark.
Let me see you do that on air.
I never really did give these much considerstion, mostly do to their volume( Both the amount of liquid and db ). I too think that this would be nice if they could incorperate a larger rad.
Also water cooling wont go sub ambient w/o adding more loot for a TEC and the goodies that have to come with.
B: I didn't see it was TEC.
C: I fail.
b: It is;)
c: not fail just looking to get the best bang for ur dollar.
I'm in now way condoning the pricing, but those who are picking on it need to see the whole picture, not just a CoolIt ECO with a neat LCD poster on it.
i like cool running systems that dont fail even if all the fans do in 40C weather.
my current system (video cards aside) is very power efficient. tis why i want 5K cards.
