The 40GB mentioned in the article seems to be getting read speeds over 320MB/sec. That seems to imply it has a SATA 6Gbps interface on it, does this mean we can expect to see the larger capacities upgraded to that and this greater than 320MB/sec reads but still with the 275MB/sec (or more) writes of the larger drives?
If they can do this and get the price down a bit more at the same time we may have a winner. :)
... or were the Crystal results also for a 2 drive RAID0 like the ATTO benchmark appears to be, which would make them much less impressive.
In which case, assuming RAID0 for all, it is not that impressive unless it's very cheap.
