ViewSonic Intros Pearl White 24-inch Monitor

ViewSonic introduced the VX2451mhp-LED, a 24-inch LED-backlit LCD monitor. It's rather broad lower bezel might give you the impression that it's a 16:10 monitor, but that's not the case. This screen is another full-HD (1920 x 1080) model, but features native aspect-ratio adjustments that allow you to toggle image scaling. The monitor presents itself in a pearl-white finish, its stand allows basic tilt adjustments.

Apart from the full-HD resolution, the panel of the VX2451mhp-LED features a response time of 2 ms (gray to gray), static contrast ratio of 1,000:1, 20,000,000:1 DCR, and brightness of 300 cd/m2². It takes input from DVI, D-Sub, and HDMI. It packs 5W stereo speakers. Backed by a 3-year warranty, the ViewSonic VX2451mhp-LED is priced at €178.

It looks very clean and classy.. Something more for an office, still attractive and cheaper than my 1360x768 22" screen lol.

I'll wait for the beige colored one to go with all my other pre-90's PCs.

Because he's implying that anything that doesn't adhear to the "optimal" Aspect Ratio of 1920x1200 which is 16:10. 1920x1080 is 16:9 which was originally popularized as a Widescreen HDTV Resolution + Ratio. To be honest the difference isn't worth the huge mark-up you pay just to get that extra 230,400 pixels.

Looks pretty good to me, but they should have dropped the speaker and that gigantic white space under the screen. Nice for postit's though.
