anidées AI-6B Series Chassis Debuts

anidées presents their first Mid-Tower chassis named AI-6B. The case offers a clean, understated design which is a welcome change from the outlandish, LED equipped offerings in the market today, while still offering all the essential and useful features one would look for in an enclosure like this. A slightly flashier version with a window with the model name AI-6BW and a variant with sound dampening, the AI-6BS, are also part of the launch line-up, which are available immediately exclusively at Caseking.

The new comer in the case market by the name anidées has made it their goal to take the ideas and suggestions from the hardware community and offer the enthusiast user a unique blend of functionality and quality. Fittingly, the brand anidées is a mix of the English and French variants of the word idea.
The utmost aim of the new brand is clearly noticeable when viewing the AI-6B chassis. Construction quality combined with a timeless, understated, yet functional look have been the focus when designing the chassis. A large door seamlessly fits into the overall, curved design of the chassis, with Aluminum lining the entire front and top panels. Vents around these panels allow for air to enter the chassis without disturbing the overall design of the AI-6B.

A large front door enables such a design, which is set to swing open to the right out of the box. Thanks to the intricate construction, the hinges of the door may be placed on the opposite site, allowing for the cover to open to the left if need be. Behind this is a removable mesh, covering the front intake fan and three, easily removable 5.25 inch drive bay covers which may also be used for 3.5 inch devices.
The clear design elements have been continued in the top panel of the chassis, with the extensive I/O - consisting of two USB 3.0 and an impressive four USB 2.0 plugs, along with the traditional audio connectivity - neatly embedded in the front area of this panel. Only the slightly extruded power button can be seen extending beyond the flat Aluminum surface.

Hidden behind the top panel is a large vent, allowing up to 280 mm radiators to fit here without any modifications. Alternatively, one may install a pair of 120 or 140 mm fans instead. The same cooling configuration can be employed in the front, while the rear can hold a single 120 mm variant. anidées includes a 140 mm unit in the front to cool the hard drives and internal components, while a pre-installed 120 mm one in the rear pulls hot air out the back of the AI-6B. For those wanting the get the most out of the cooling potential of the chassis a bottom vent for 120 or 140 mm units rounds up the extensive possibilities found within the chassis.

Thus, an efficient transport of hot air out of the chassis is guaranteed to keep high-end hardware cool. This type of parts can easily be installed inside the AI-6B, as CPU coolers with a height of 175 mm and graphic cards with a length of up to 428 mm easily fit within the enclosure, thanks to the removable hard drive cages.

Up to seven 2.5 or 3.5 inch hard drives may be installed on the supplied metal trays. The larger variant is placed on rubber spacers as an anti-vibration matter. The same type of countermeasures can be found in the power supply bay, resulting in an extremely quiet operating noise.

When filling the chassis with fans, the two included low-voltage adapters ensure that up to six fans can be run at 5 or 7 Volts respectively, thus offering excellent cooling at low noise levels. With the ability to install up to eight fans inside the AI-6B, it also caters to users who want to harness the utmost cooling potential have the possibility to do so. To keep the interior clean, anidées has installed two separate PCBs to connect these fans to.

Various openings in the motherboard tray allow for easy cable management and hiding, which is vital due to the fact, that the AI-6B can hold up to eight expansion cards. A large hole in the tray enables the painless and quick exchange of CPU coolers, without having to dismantle the entire system in the process. With this debut chassis, anidées offers a product with refreshingly uncompromising quality and functionality at a great price point.

The anidées AI-6B Midi-Tower - black is available immediately for a price of 109.90 Euro at www.caseking.de, while the silent or window versions carry a price of 119.90 Euro.

wow. I hope some shop decides to offer it this side of the pond.

That or that some other brand "borrow" design cues from it.

Do want. I think its time for me to move away from the windowed, flashy looking cases and move on to next to a next to no lights/sound dampening case.

[H]@RD5TUFFI like it, but I have never heard of the brand.
This is their first case so they're new. A very good way to enter the market. It could be a bit cheaper, but still.
