AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ surfaces
Seems like AMD may still releases chips with 2x1MB cache. Previous price lists and news mentioned that the 2x1MB feature will be unique to the FX series, but according to OC.com.tw the upcoming X2 5200+ still features 2x1MB cache. It is always easier to add heaps of cache, than to increase the MHz, so AMD is going that way, trying to fight Intels Core 2 Duo.

And this thing better be under $250 at least.
Do you they will ever make this to support 939 socket
As much as I love AMD, it doesnt matter what they do right now, they wont be able to fend off Conroe. I hate to say it, but Intel learned from the pwning AMD has handed it the last several years. Now, they should do a minor change and make their cpus faster like the conroe did. :)
