Scythe Releases the BIG Shuriken 2 Rev. B CPU Cooler with LGA 2011 Support
Japanese company Scythe has just announced the European release of a revised version of the BIG Shuriken 2 low-profile CPU cooler, one that adds support for LGA 2011 (aka Sandy Bridge E) processors while maintaining compatibility with Intel LGA 1155, LGA 1156, LGA 775, LGA 1366 and AMD Socket AM2, AM2+, AM3, AM3+ and FM1 chips.
Scythe's updated cooler measures 125 x 135 x 58 mm and features a nickel-plated copper base, five copper heatpipes (Oval Heatpipe Structure), and a Slip Stream 120 Slim fan boasting a Sleeve Bearing that can operate at 500 to 2.000 RPM (9.32 - 33.67 dBA sound output).
The BIG Shuriken 2 Rev. B has a recommended price tag of 30 Euro (VAT not included).

But you are right for 95% of HTPC no need for heatsinks.
Something like this is actually low profile RAM, not just standard profile...
Doesn't stick up above the slot.
