Revised Acer Aspire S3 Pictured

Acer ironed out a lot of issues of its flagship Ultrabook, the Aspire S3, with the revised Aspire S3-391. The revised S3 was shown to public at CeBIT. To begin with, it is based on Intel's revised, more mature Ultrabook platform specification, driven by "Ivy Bridge" Core processor, and 7-series chipset, which gives it up to four USB 3.0 ports driven by the PCH. CompuBase found the new Ultrabook to be more responsive thanks to its newer processor. Slated for the middle of Q2-2012, the Aspire S3-391 is expected to be priced at 899 €.

You can choose between ultrabook or blu-ray drive, those two are incompatible. Get an ultrabook and an external drive instead.

Completely Bonkers
I don't like those "Apple" keyboard where they crunch the cursor keys into such a small space... yet waste real-estate with enormous shift keys. COME ON... we ALL use the cursor keys far more than shift, especially RIGHT SHIFT. Now THAT is the key that can be shrunk... to make space for full sized cursor keyset. SONY got it right... they (at least on my laptop) shrank right shift to a regular key size, making space for full cursor keys.
