Unstoppable Gorg: Attack of the Giant Sale

Futuremark Games Studio announced today that its cult hit, 1950s sci-fi inspired tower defense game Unstoppable Gorg will be Steam's Daily Deal on Thursday March 15 selling for just $4.99 for one day only.

Unstoppable Gorg is a revolutionary tower defense game that challenges you to defend the solar system from fearsome aliens by sending satellites into orbit. Unlike tower-based defense games, in Unstoppable Gorg you can move your satellites by rotating the orbits that surround planets, moons and space stations.

Playing Unstoppable Gorg you experience a thrilling story inspired by the classic sci-fi movies of the 1950s. Flying saucers, rubbery aliens, hammy acting, spaceships on string, it's got them all. The game's story scenes were shot on film using models, miniatures and actors and then edited together with genuine archive footage to create a classic sci-fi experience that has helped earn the game a cult following.

Windows PC and Apple Mac Steam sale price $4.99, regular price $9.99 - SAVE 50% store.steampowered.com/app/18120/ (from 10am PST)

Last year or so of Steam sales hasn't been great. Before that, you'd see a lot of titles in the $2.50 or less range. Has been a steady increase. Now you see $5 sales more often. Just means to me, I have more incentive to wait for those holiday sales :D.

Yeah it's not too bad, there is a sale every season, so every 3 months or so!
