using an Edimax now and couldnt be happier.
A TP Link TL-WA830RE which liked to lag me out and randomly stop me from acessing the internet for long periods of time as well as slow down the internet - this only happened when i was on Wi-fi, So i switched to using LAN and everything worked great at first and i thought i could forget about it, then it started happening while I was using the LAN. when it finally allowed me to use the internet it was followed by needing a hard reset from the mains every 3days otherwise it just wouldnt work properly at all.
a TP-Link TL-WA901ND - I thought id pay a little more for a slightly higher end unit when i returned the WA830RE. this one let me have my internet but it was prone to wi-fi signal drop outs and wouldnt let anything auto connect back up unless it was reset. So I went from doing a hard reset every 3days to doing one every 3-6hrs.
couldnt be arsed to 'troubleshoot' it extensively since i wasted so much time on the WA830RE and just sent it back for a refund and picked up a Edimax EW-7416APN which ive not had any issues with since getting it set up last week.
I thought TP-Link were better then that as Ive used quite a few of their Giga networkcards for older systems that needed to be 'modernised' hence me giving them a go.
so good riddance to bad rubbish.
