Inno3D Announces the iChill HerculeZ 3000 GTX 680 Graphics Card

Inno3D now brings you the iChill HerculeZ 3000 GTX 680! The daisy chain architecture of the cooler design allows for multiple customizable configuration to suit your style. The latest HerculeZ models has 9 scythe blades on each of its fans that work actively with the Herculez Ball Bearing to keep the temperature cool under the hood at all times.

The HerculeZ is made up of a large heatsink with several large heatpipes protruding from the side. The reflective cores indicate a well lapped heatsink as the flat and smooth surface provides better surface area for heat dissipation. Looking at the underside you get a good look at the large heatsink fins which are quite dense and have been designed around the shroud as they fit it very nicely.

Heatpipes are an efficient way of moving heat from one area to another and are usually used to connect the high density block of the cooler with the large surface area fins.

Customize your style; customize your performance!

That looks fantastic!

Will this take 3 slots or the usual 2?

That is huge. I don't like how you can see through the middle of the fans.

Hmm I wonder how this will compare with the Gigabyte Windforce 3X and for that matter the Windforce 5X when that comes out, and also the MSI Twin Frozr cards and Asus DCII

It looks like a critical electronic component some hero would pull out in a sci-fi movie scene where the space battleship is crumbling and there aliens are getting through the walls.

Ebuyer sells a few, but I don't imagine that's very useful to you.

Have you tried searching for Inno3D in Google's shopping search?

I havent checked Uk sites yet, if it is available its great, I might be able to procure these although in general taxation in UK(even Europe) is higher than India for some reason. I am interested in the water cooled video cards.
