Lamptron Outs G1/4" Barbed Fitting
Lamptron's newest creation for water-cooling buffs is a highly accessible G1/4" barbed fitting. The fitting acts as an interface between water-blocks and tubing. Made of copper, Lamptron's fitting comes in three color options: matte black, chrome-silver, and brass. Measuring 18 x 25 mm, the fitting is designed for three installation methods: by hand (thanks to its barbing), using a wrench (thanks to its cut-ins), and using a coin (thanks to its slits). It supports ID3/8", ID7/16", and ID1/2" tubing sizes. The fitting will be sold in sets of two, priced at US $6.99.

I've been watercooling my "hot stuffs" for about 8 years now, last few years I've not paid much attention to what's going on in that market. This certainly is the first time I see a pimped tube fitting.
What next? LED lit fittings?
the whole quarter thing is silly. added feature. lol. someone was bored and said "how many features can we put on a barb, people love features"
I am with Initialised ... use compression fittings, if you can foot the bill, if not then just get regular barbs.
over all likely a good product but fittings are still not cheap @ $6.99 a shot :(
There's still quite a bit of room in the market to make products that are beneficial.
These do look nice and at a decent price for a pair. May have to look into these.
Nice enough I guess, but I tend to use Bitspower true silver comp fittings -excellent machining quality and antimicrobial - two birds, one stone as they say.
 Translated. My signature (the visible part of it) replies perfectly for this.
