Intel Ranks as One of the Greenest Companies
Today Newsweek unveiled its annual Green Rankings and Intel is ranked #7 on the U.S. 500 list (up from #15 in 2011) and #35 on the Global 500 list (up from #47 in 2011). Intel was recognized for its green initiatives including buying more green power than any company in the U.S., reducing its greenhouse gas emissions by 60 percent since 2007, and tying employee compensation to green performance.

Gas does have it's limitations, but it's ideal for covering the daily "peaks" of energy use (nuclear operates only at constant output).
