Normally you seem on point but this time you have no clue what you're talking about. Sometimes people don't want to run wires to have sound throughout their home. These types of setups are great for the rooms you don't have wired up to your receiver(s). Something like this is great for the bathroom for those of us that LOVE listening to music while in the shower.

at least there is a 3.5mm input. I don't like bluetooth.
