btarunrIn addition to official support for some of the recently launched AMD GPUs, such as the Radeon HD 7790 and HD 7990 "Malta," we're expecting (hoping, rather), that AMD will have addressed some of the CrossFire scaling and frame-latency issues.
Keep hoping, the drivers that work on the latency issues are still pre-alpha, in the prototype phase. We probably won't even see beta versions of those magical drivers until June or July.

I don't know about that. A lot of people are reporting significant improvements in smoothness quality with the 13.5 betas. They may have addressed some of those issues in the latest beta.

13.5 betas = R7990 prototype drivers?

Here's hoping they have a proper WHQL driver by the start of summer, with all the latency fixes and CF profiles (especially for R7990... not that I personally care for multi-GPU setups, but nVidia needs to be lowered a few notched down with their 1000$ madness).

So about the OGL 4.3 thing, is that only for R7790, cause I remember it being the first (and only, so far) AMD card to fully support the latest OpenGL...

I am also confused as to whether to install CAPS with 13.4WHQL and 13.5 b2. I usually refrain from beta drivers, but since i got hold of 13.4 before they were released i guess i took a chance there anyway.

installed and tried them now, worked well in starcraft II.

installed fine on my laptop as well (APU crossfire) which is actually rather uncommon, most drivers cause trouble on it.

You got to love the graphs that don't start from zero percent... it looks like it doubled the performance just to find out it's only around 10%...

Its AMD's version of Nvidia Optimus. Enduro is supposed to dynamically switch between the onboard Intel GPU and the discrete Radeon graphics card.

Its never worked properly. Only certain laptop manufacturers have figured out a solution and it doesn't work on AMD's own platform either. Its both a hardware and software issue, but the latest drivers to help to make the switching work a little better.

my laptop has it, but it doesnt work because the IGP is both the low power, and high performance unit so it just sits still :/

OK WTF!!!!
Anyone else get that Stupid STEAM UPDATE that takes like 40 times to install and then seems to take away every bit of progress these drivers made?

I'm seriously pissed!!!
On Call of Duty Black Ops 2 these drivers took out the lag issue I've had with the game since it came out and I've been very happy with em...Then I get this Fuckin STEAM Update that Takes like 40 times to install and now I'm back to playing like before these drivers which is SHIT!

Now I'm once again getting shot around corners..bullets aren't counting etc...etc... and I know its from that dammed STEAM update!

i don't have any problems with steam, also, as mussels said, the lag is an internet problem either on your part or on theirs (probably the second since cod servers are notorious to be terrible)
