ALLBenchmark CatZilla 1.0 Formally Launched

Finding the optimal performance for a PC's CPU and graphics card just became quicker, more nimble and more entertaining than ever before with the official release of Catzilla, an optimization test developed by three hardcore gamers. Catzilla software tests and compares a computer's capabilities based on benchmark CPU and GPU performance, which is critical in video games and other applications with advanced graphics, using a battle scene between rival "Catzilla" monsters. Catzilla is an all-inclusive program that provides benchmark scores, and software and hardware recommendations based on the test results in order to keep PCs running at their optimum condition.

Catzilla, a cross-API benchmark designed for OpenGL 4.0 and DirectX 9 or 11, and Windows operating systems (64-bit and 32-bit Windows 8, 7, XP and Vista), is a quick, yet comprehensive benchmarking program that uses algorithms found in the latest PC video games, so users can see how their PCs will handle the most demanding games. Catzilla runs one set of tests to fully benchmark the users' PCs, so it's easier for them to overclock their processors squeezing every last bit of juice and test for stability.
Following Catzilla's simple 500 MB download that is significantly smaller and infinitely more entertaining than the competition's, a PC's hardware is tested with an epic video of two battling "Catzillas." The video, with advanced HD graphics, fiery particle effects and explosive scenes, serves as an entertaining animated short as well as the basis for the comprehensive benchmark test. Platige Image - the award-winning studio behind graphics seen in several video games, commercials, animations and films, including The Witcher and Cyberpubk 2077 - created the artwork in the Catzilla video.

After the test, which takes just a few minutes, Catzilla provides instant benchmark results, and hardware and software recommendations. With just one click, users can tweak their PC settings for more "oomph." This includes installing the latest drivers, setting the appropriate amount of cache, increasing free disk space, and changing the color depth and resolution. Catzilla also can recommend the latest hardware, such as graphics cards, that can increase performance.

"With half the download size and twice the testing speed than our nearest competitor, Catzilla combines fast and nimble testing with awesome power and gargantuan results for anyone who wants to know just how far they can push their PC - whether for playing games or watching movies in all of their HD glory," said Maciek Matuszewski, CEO, ALLPlayer Group Ltd. Partnership. "Curious newbies, aspiring overclockers, professionals and the hardest of the hardcore PC gamers and who want to push their PC performance to the edge can use Catzilla. And while they're testing, they get to watch two enormous cats out to destroy each other with freakin' lasers shooting from their eyes."

Following an extensive beta period where Catzilla began winning the praise of overclockers around the globe. For those willing to help "the man," they can opt-in to send anonymous data each test to ALLBenchmark, which is used to assist software developers. Catzilla can be downloaded and here for immediate installation and benchmarking.

Developed by three hardcore PC gamers, ALLBenchmark Catzilla is a new standard for PC CPU and GPU benchmarking. A cross-API benchmark designed for OpenGL 4.0 and DirectX 9 or 11, and Windows operating systems (64-bit and 32-bit Windows 8, 7, XP and Vista), Catzilla is a quick, yet comprehensive benchmarking program that uses algorithms found in the latest PC video games, so users can see how their PCs will handle the most demanding videogames, HD movies and other graphically demanding applications. Catzilla was created by Lodz, Poland-based ALLPlayer Group Ltd. Partnership. More information can be found at the official Catzilla website.

Cool, a cat benchmark. As if we didn't have enough cats in this world to depict in as different ways as the mind can conjure up. That's one evil ass cat.

Bad Kitty!

It installs okay on my Ivy Bridge Win 8 system, but when trying to run it, a pop-up says some driver is missing and it closes. I think the last version of this I tried had a similar problem. Kitty needs house-training....

Is there any interest is starting a CatZilla Benchmark thread? Just curious...
I wouldn't mind starting one, but only if there are enough members willing to submit scores.

EDIT: I had no problem downloading and running the benchmark:)
