In Win Announces the 904 Aluminum PC Case

In Win Development has just unveiled a new addition to its PC case line-up, the 904 mid-tower. Seen below, this chassis measures 490 (H) x 192 (W) x 490 (D) mm and features an aluminum body, side panels made of tinted tempered glass, and supports ATX/micro ATX motherboards and graphics cards up to 360 mm long.

In Win's creation also has an I/O panel with USB 3.0 (x 4) and HD Audio ports, one 5.25-inch drive bay, three 3.5-inch and two 2.5-inch drive trays, magnetic dust filters, and can be equipped with two fans (90 mm on the back panel, 120/140 mm near the I/O panel) and a 120/140 mm liquid cooling radiator. The In Win 904 costs 179.90 Euro and is set to ship early next month.

Looks a lot better than most of InWin's previous offerings. More radiator options would have been nice, but overall a very clean design. I'll look forward to DarkSaber's review :D

Wow very nice indeed. Definitely one under consideration for me. What's the box thing on the bottom right in the interior pic? Just a storage area?

It's just an opening to let in airflow.

I'm very intrigued by this case. If it's under $200 in the USA then I'm replacing my Corsair Vengeance C70.

It's also the place for your optical disc drive, the disc tray moves into that space.

Check this link for more details and additional pictures including a youtube video (in german). In germany it's already available for 180,- EUR.

Cool thanks for that. It looks a little awkward having to get a disc in and out of there but I guess nowadays the ODD doesn't get used much by most people.

Here is a detailed review with lots of photos in Chiphell (Chinese)
www.chiphell.com/article-8510-1.html

After reading the review, I'm thinking seriously to get this case instead of a Corsair 750D that I almost made the purchase. 904 seems to be a really nice case. EUR 180 is not cheap, but I think it is not overpriced with such innovative layout, elegant look, quality finishing, and passion of creativity.

A photo from the review showing Maximus VI Extreme, however, was just fit in the case, so putting an E-ATX board inside seems to be impossible. The reviewer was also unable to install a non-reference display card with cooler a bit taller. Nonetheless, to me the 904 is still an refined case that really stands out.

It would be nice if the power/USB panel were reversible. It could also be a slightly larger to accommodate the more common 120mm fans. That rear plate could also be perforated all the way down so you could perhaps use a 240mm radiator. Small tweaks, but the craftsmanship looks very high quality especially for InWin.
