US/Canada only SUCKS!
With me there is no real benefit of having FB account either. People's opinions don't change or improve at all.
Actually the only thing that matters for relationships with people is real life live interaction.
FB is only helpful when you need to message someone but even then there are multiple other ways to do it.
So, I really understand why you are so frustrated. The same with me. :(
