All-New Counter Logic Gaming Razer BlackWidow Keyboard Released
Razer, a world leader in connected devices and software for gamers, along with Counter Logic Gaming (CLG), a longtime eSports partner and premier North American organization, announced the launch of the new Counter Logic Gaming Razer BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth keyboard.
The CLG BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth gaming keyboard continues to give CLG players and fans a customized gaming setup. Late last year, Razer unveiled a limited edition CLG version of its best-selling DeathAdder mouse in the team's iconic black and white colors. The new keyboard is wrapped in a familiar finish. The team's logo is imprinted onto a unique two-tone black and white body and the keys are illuminated in CLG's white coloring."CLG is one of the driving forces behind the explosive growth of professional gaming in North America and the world," says Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder and CEO. "The new CLG BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth keyboard features the only unobtrusive mechanical switch that was specifically designed for gaming."
While traditional mechanical switches were originally designed for typing, the all-new Razer Mechanical Switches have been designed and engineered from the ground up for gaming. After extensive research, Razer's multi-award winning engineers identified the optimal actuation distance for a gaming switch to a fraction of a millimeter and reduced the distance between the actuation and reset point by almost half to allow for faster, more precise gaming commands when compared to standard mechanical switches. Furthermore, the all-new Razer Mechanical Switches are made using an ultra-precise manufacturing technique that, along with gold plated contact points, result in a projected lifespan of up to 60 million key strokes.
These switches were tested extensively by the world's most demanding eSports athletes from Team Razer, including CLG pros, who validated the new Razer Mechanical Switch in some of the most intense professional gaming tournaments.
"We're really happy to be working with Razer, a company that pioneered the gaming peripheral category, on our custom-branded gear for our players and fans," says George "HotshotGG" Georgallidis, CLG co-founder and President. "We're proud to extend our ongoing partnership that will result in giving our players and fans the best gaming gear on the planet."

15 Comments on All-New Counter Logic Gaming Razer BlackWidow Keyboard Released
i guess 365 days of average use is a good life for a computer hardware :D well when they hold 12 month... and i talk by personal experience ...i had 8 product from them (Naga/Mamba/Orochi/Ouroboros/Destructor/Lycosa/BlackWidow/Electra), all but 2 failed in the 1st half of the year i bought them (not the same year ofc :D )
tho i reckon for mouse pad they do quite good,my only 2 last Razer product i didn't swap for another brand, (got tired of RMA  ) is my Razer Electra and a Destructor that i use for my 2nd rig.
can't stand that brand anymore  even Trust or Genius does better on the long run
last example: the day i searched for a new mousepad i had the choice between a Razer Vespula and a Roccat Alumic well judging by the material: the Alumic won hands down and cost less (if i had to choose between that BlackWidow and a Ryos MK... oh well whatever  )
So after 4 mice and 2 keyboards hell no.. Just buy some o rings lol.
Overall i think they keyboard is limited to what most can do at the same or a little extra. Only good thing is the fully programmable keys which is only good for me due to being left handed.
Only other good thing i can say it don't look like a finger magnet like the others did. that shiny shit OMG total nightmare as the keyboard looked nasty after a little while which made it looked old unless you wiped it down every day or so.
Its about time this flashy company spent some money on R&D instead of 'P&R'. :shadedshu:
i never treated badly any of my peripherals and yes only the one from Razer failed :D (all my logitech/A4tech/genius/trust/gigabyte/roccat peripherals are like new)
Razer is just "all look and marketing and no quality and reliability"
Razor Widowmaker keyboard, writing right now on it...sorry blackwidow they call it.,. all excellent, realy, but the AUDIO PASSTHROU is nonsense... Where I am going to plug this 2 cables (audios and microphone)... I already have speakers.... The keyboard plugs into the rear of my tower, how or where do they want me to plug this speaker pas throu in to???????????????? Shgould have included some sort of redirecting stuff...
