QNAP Ships 16GB Versions of TS-x70 Pro Series NAS

QNAP, Inc., a global network attached storage (NAS) manufacturer, is now shipping new 16GB models of the TS-x70 Pro Series Turbo NAS which is designed specifically in support of QNAP's new Virtualization Station, a centralized virtualization environment that allows users to run and manage multiple virtual machines directly on the NAS without the need for additional hardware/software. QNAP is the first and only NAS vendor to offer this capability. The entire QNAP Turbo NAS lineup features "hardened" data security architecture that makes QNAP a leading choice of US defense contractors and enterprise datacenters.
The 16GB TS-x70 Pro models feature Intel Core i3 processors and is a formidable high-performance network storage solution with a built-in hypervisor along with added memory to fulfill demanding applications including:
  • Running various server applications on different virtual machines such as web server, ERP/CRM system, Windows Exchange server and Windows Active Directory server;
  • Easy to deploy different development or test environments for convenient set-up and duplication;

Nope - it is 16GB of memory - not 16 TB HDD capacity
