Sapphire Releases TriXX Utility 6.0.0

Sapphire today released version 6.0.0 of TriXX its graphics card overclocking, tuning, and monitoring utility, included with Sapphire graphics cards, yet compatible with a wide variety of graphics cards. Version 6.0.0 comes with a revamped user-interface that not only gives you key readouts of your graphics cards, but also organizes its key functions so the main window doesn't look cluttered.

Since it's the first major release since AMD launched its new generation "Polaris" GPUs, TriXX supports the Radeon RX 480, RX 470, and RX 460; with special features supported on Sapphire custom-design graphics cards. To begin with, on the new Sapphire NITRO+ series graphics cards, it features the Fan Check function, which tests the health of the fans, and alerts customer support to send replacement fans. It also supports NITRO Glow, letting you customize RGB LED lighting, including 5 lighting presets. Lastly, you can now set up to five profiles for your settings.

AirOk, thats probably the ugliest monitoring software ever. Glossy textures, multiple non matching shades of blue/teal, with touches of green, orange, yellow and red in gradient form.
It's not even the ugliest version of Trixx. The previous version looked like something straight out of the late 90s.

What, no RGB disco lights?

Afterburner is kinda "if it works, don't fix it" type of an overclocking software, been using it since it was released. And if I have a graphics card which doesn't support software overvolting (like my current XFX HD7750 Core Edition), then I just modify the vBIOS with higher voltages. :toast:

does anybody know if this version has the Crimson voltage fix for overclocking and not hanging on a re-start and locked at the last voltage set?

this needs a minimize to system tray option like gpu z has, i dont like leaving apps running full screen/full size, i like them sitting in system tray like GPU Z and CAM do :)

Cybrnook2002@W1zzard , didn't you develop this?
er, wouldnt the news point that out & every comment congratulate him? he makes gpuz, while everything based on rivatuner is made by unwinder (afterburner, older precision, trixx? zotac's? the asus one?)

really dont like this fragmented mess of features & hardware support across multiple tools when the core is the same riva
AirSo I tried it. It doesn't match the windows 10, but looks great anyway. MSI Afterburner is almost perfect for me now. My only remaining wishes are:
- Resizable window, to show more graphics at the same time.
- Show current values for the main parameters somewhere outside the graphs, perhaps in little boxes, a la GPU-Z (but without enormous gauges please).
- Toggle to make the graphics show data for the whole last hour.
- Monitor CPU clock speed.
that's what the detach button is, resize the graph, afterburner has always had this

i'm casually looking around, seems afterburner dropped some of the features of rivatuner (regarding methods to monitor cpu speed)

it's certainly a problem when trying to find a knob or slider, or when it's covering up half the screen when trying to test something windowed

in this days any soft if better than that, that soft still dont have an overlay tool, and fan curves sucks, i still use MSI over this in a million of years

AgielsCAM is even better
CAM is a junkyassed program that doesn't even work for half of its users. Until NZXT can get a properly working app its useless.

I've been using CAM for a while now and it ok, toothless is partially right tho it doesn't work for 1/2 the people using it. Also game overlay doesn't show up in all games, they constantly update their fb page with game support tho. It doesn't read my 480 correctly in specs and it was crashing Overwatch last month. I will say nzxt do listen to feedback and try to implement or fix what is suggested.

I guess you forgot about ATITool ;) Which is what Trixx was originally based on, so yes W1z is behind Trixx

You're thinking about it all wrong. If you are hired to do a job for someone, then you can't claim it's yours just because you made it. Think of how many Developers worked on Windows 10? None of them are claiming it's their software, because they wrote it or part of it. ;) Those people are held to a legal agreement as would be W1zzard as well.

So I too don't like the super busy looks but its clocking my reference Rx480s well, and allows the convenience of profile saves which wattman hasn't got.

Actually, he has a background hand in trixx, since ATItool was one he helped work on, which it evolved from.

I check afterburner regularly, and I'm glad it does not look embarrassingly bad while I'm doing so. Besides, its clear here that they TRIED do make it look good, otherwise they would just make a simple design that would enhance/complement the software's functions. So we are just commenting their effort.

Yeah, but I don't what to detach the graphics, i prefer to keep it in a single window. Not that its a big problem, but depending on a new skin just to resize the window is kinda odd.

Simple when you overclock for sport having giant graphical interfaces slows down the process. I don't need a giant 3D rendered pile of shit taking up screen space.
