ASUS Announces Availability of the Designo Curve MX34VQ With Qi Charging

After announcing it on mid-2016, ASUS is finally coming through with its announcement of a unique take on the widescreen monitor department. Dubbed the Designo Curve, the MX34QV stays true to the design implied in its name, presenting an interesting mix of straight lines and a nicely curved, organic base, which incidentally supports wireless Qi charging. I find the aesthetics on this monitor pleasing and subdued, even though some liberties have been taken with that exquisite Qi charging base, which lights up in a cool blue lighting.
The monitor is based around a VA, UWQHD-class panel (3440*1440), coming in at 34" and a 2.39:1 aspect ratio. The Designo Curve offers a maximum brightness of 300 nits, a 3000:1 contrast ratio, a 100 Hz refresh rate, 178°/178° viewing angles, a 4 ms response time, and what some might see as a deal-breaker: a 1800R curvature.
As for connectivity, the Designo Curve MX34VQ monitor has 3xHDMI 2.0 ports, 1x DisplayPort 1.2 port (PiP and PBP function support), and a 3.5-mm audio jack. In what some might consider an extravagant waste of resources, the Designo Curve packs an audio sub-system co-developed with Harman Kardon, which, while coming in at 8 W (4x higher than the usual monitor speakers), will undoubtedly come short of a dedicated audio system.
The pricing of the monitor, however, doesn't come in as too steep. Considering the other offers in the market, its supposed MSRP of $799 has a little of that "too good to be true" sound to it. Feature-wise, it may not be the best in the market, but the interesting blend of design and characteristics do make this a rather appealing monitor.

Is it hard to implement an height adjustment feature on monitor like this? I mean bending is ok but..

100hz refresh. Not bad this, shame it's got a curve and a stand with LED in it, no height adjust (though that can always be fixed easily).
