BenQ Unveils Ideal Display for Gamers
BenQ added today the new FP241VW LCD monitor to its product line. The FP241VW features sleek exterior design, BenQ's exclusive Senseye+gaming technology, PerfectMotion dynamic video processing technology that effectively eliminates ghosting and motion blurs, HDMI interface and an ultra-fast 12ms MPRT (Motion Picture Response Time). Other specifications include 1920x1200 resolution, 0.270 pixel pitch, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 178/178(CR>=10) H/V viewing angles. The FP241VW fully supports video resolution of 1080p and features HDMI interface which allows easy connection to HD enabled equipment such as HD DVD players, and game consoles. The FP241VW also supports various inputs including DVI-D and D-sub for maximum compatibility. The FP241VW is currently available Taiwan, China, US and Japan markets.

Would like to know how big the display is also; couldn't find that in the article. It does look very nice though; a refreshing change from the typical LCD a la stand and the HDMI is a nice touch. Hello PS3 playin on the toilet :laugh:
12ms is pretty slow these days.
A lot of the newer LCDs are 8ms and lower.
Based upon the naming convention and the resolution, it seems that this LCD is 24 in.
MPRT? Is that the same thing as grey-to-grey or black-to-black?
this one is sweet tooo but as all we knew it is the price war. i hope see this lower than half a grand or just aliite higher ;( ,.....

ps. the marketing really sucks, if they don't mention that it's a PVA and don't use 6ms GtG, this might also be because of the new regulation of Gray-to-Gray times. Manufactures can't report what they like anymore, but there are specifications for it like in Black-to-Black. Read somewhere it was on the making, maybe it's ready now.
