They use the same circular pump/CPU block as some Corsairs, Antecs, Coolermaster, Thermaltake and NXZT units which are known asetek units

I know that the others do, but i can't find a source regarding ID-cooling. Even my local ID-cooling importer told me there's no connection, and within the list of vendors at asetek, ID-cooling just isnt there.

I need to do some research of my own

Not the same; the Aseteks are round, but they are toothed like a gear (for the mounting bracket), this is not.

Actually seems like the contrary....

+1 ...
But consider that some new models have different mounting system or retention system, for example Crio Rig units and some fractal design ones...

Yes, he should change it to "Look at me, by expressing my boredom with all of your comments, I'm trying to come off as cool and edgy and far above all of you, Look at me"

Fyi: Its not your comments I find boring, but rather the same ole same same products that these companies try to pass off as if they are doing something new and innovative, when in fact they are just more of the same crap with a different label on it that has been available for like 10 years now....

and fyi,#2: I don't and never have considered myself above anyone else, here or otherwise....

Okay, maybe my comment was a bit harsh, but perhaps you should consider how all that yawning sounds to the rest of us. Every company is just trying to get a piece of the pie, and it takes money to be truly innovative, so stop yawning over the 95% of products that aren't, and express yourself by buying or not buying. Maybe this product does the job cheaper, or cools better - the fact is, we don't know - you should wait for the reviews before you talk sh*t about a product. Or at least elaborate the cause of your feeling so downtrodden by a simple fact of economics...

Well, considering that the original post makes no mention of any type of advancement in cooling technology or improved performance over and above what is currently available, I see no need to wait for the reviews....

If there was anything special about these coolers, don't you think it would have been highlighted as a selling point in the announcement ?????

Nice sig, bonehead123, your assignment for today is to learn about the Downing Effect, illusory superiority, and the benefits of humility towards building relationships. Good Luck! The best day in your life will be the day you realize that you don't really know sh*t, after that day you can start to accumulate knowledge without prejudice.

And its time for you to learn to chill and not take everything you read on the web so seriously or personally, as if anyone really cares what my Sig is.

How about I change it to this:

I banged your wife, your momma and your sister last night, and they all said you are an a**hole to everyone you meet....so I guess it must be true

Oh and another thing....I always thought forum members were not supposed to post personal attacks on each other and keep things somewhat civil... Or is that a myth ?
