ADATA Releases the Special Edition UV100FU SB Flash Drive

ADATA Technology, a leading manufacturer of highperformance DRAM modules, NAND Flash products, and mobile accessories today launchedthe UV100F special edition USB Flash drive, designed especially for the upcoming holiday season. The USB 2.0 drive has 16GB/32GB capacities and features a red/white design highlighting Christmas icons. Perfect as a gift to friends, family, and team members, the UV100F ships in a custom red retail box to further accentuate its special edition status. The UV100F joins a long tradition of ADATA special edition USB Flash drives that have gone on to become much-sought collectible items.

From its Santa Claus-emblazoned packaging and inwards, the UV100F beams with festive cheer. The drive itself has Frosty the Snowman (16GB) and Santa with his sleigh (32GB), painted in white on a compact red drive body. In addition to the usual utility of USB, the UV100F presents an excellent gift for all, as virtually everyone could use more storage space: it packs 16GB and 32GB, which is always useful.
The emphasis with the UV100F is on a cute and touching design for the holidays, not on complicated mechanics. It therefore doesn't have a cap, meaning less part to fiddle with or potentially lose.

Like most ADATA USB Flash drives, the UV100F has a strap mount for effortless attachment to lanyards, belts, key chains, back packs, and more. This greatly reduces the chance of misplacing the UV100F and makes mobility that much more convenient.

If they are cheap, even USB 2.0 is fine. Some people just need them to store data here and there and read from it here and there. We'd also all prefer if we could all drive latest Tesla electric cars, but reality is a bit different. USB 3.x drives are the same. We'd all like to have them as standard, but that's not how reality works...

To be honest that is no longer true. Especially for crappy 16 or 32GB drives. I can carry any data that size on my personal phone and don't even need usb port to share it. Wi-fi/Blutooth share is a default on all phones made on the past 5 years, so those drives are for...... pfff

Seriously with all the negativity? Grow up a little and quit being whiny overgrown teenagers. And for the record, USB 2 is plenty fast for drives of this capacity and the files likely to be stored on them. For products like this, practical usage takes a front-seat to raw speed, especially at the price-point offered. Which reminds me, I need a few more spare drives.

so where is the serial or ps/2 version?

USB 2 is so.... 2012.....

Me wanna see C versions in larger capacities like 256/512GB.

The VERY last friggin thing my parts drawer needs is ANOTHER useless, slow, low cap flash drive, xmas themed or otherwise...
