ASRock Releases a Teaser of Their Upcoming Phantom Gaming Graphics Cards Series

ASRock was rumored to enter the graphics card market as per a report by DigiTimes. The motherboard and soon-to-be graphics card manufacturer just released a teaser on their Japan Twitter account that confirms this rumor. The mysterious graphics card in the video belongs to their Phantom Gaming Series. Although the exact model wasn't revealed, DigiTimes's article stated that it's probably an AMD Radeon-based card. From what can be seen from the 30-second long video, the graphics card features a dual-slot design with a black and white theme. The graphics card apparently relies on two fans to provide active cooling and a single 8-pin PCIe connector for power.

AlienIsGODI personally doubt that they will release just 1 card lol. Just because you see 1 8 pin connection in a photo does not mean they don't have a full lineup ready..... It would be pretty stupid to release a Rx 580 and nothing else in the RX or Vega lineup...
For some reason I doubt they have an abundance of cards.

Whether they have many or not, I'm sure that there is more then an rx 580 in their lineup.
Look at the title of the article, "teaser" I shouldn't have to explain and "phantom gaming series" series meaning more then one of.

Lol, missed LQ posts aside, It would be more interesting if they made an OC specific card like thier OC Formula is for mobos. :)

Id love to see some over built AMD and NVIDA cards. :)

They've been separate entities for years and have made a great name for themselves, at least on the intel side. Never used one or read much for amd.

Probably not going to be OC specific considering the 8 pin but there probably will be more cards in the lineup as mentioned in the comments. Either way, you'll have to fight to get any half decent card and at a fair price.

Th3pwn3rHaha, can't be anything good with only an 8 pin.
(note I realize these asrock cards are AMD) but fun fact, Nvidia Teslas use a single 8 pin for 250w cards. it's ATX aux 8pin not pcie tho.

Not this one... right... but that wasn't what I was saying at all. I am saying it would be nice if they brought out a version like that. ;)
