What's clean about this design ?
Looks like some home appliance from the 90s, with that transparent plastic cover.

I wouldn't say it is the ugliest, but it certainly isn't going to win any awards.

Maybe we get lucky an Apple starts building video cards. Then we'll have posh looks for a "modest" premium :D
My case has no windows, my system looks the same regardless of the ugliness of the installed components.

Apple, pah! I think not; I can't do Apple. Their "modest" prices and "wall-garden" approach has always pissed me off.

I don't have any case windows either, I run brown "fugly" Noctuas for case and cpu cooling and I couldn't care less about how it looks. All I care about is quiet beastial performance.

I was just making fun of people that choose form over function. My home is iDevice free ;)

You're right, it's actually the ugliest I have seen for now.

I tend to agree with that, but i'd say there's a kind of average, and this is probably below average.

What is the concern about aesthetics when the face you are looking at can't be seen once installed ?

I much more concerned about what EVGA product limes will have a reference PCB and limited VRM and lack of thermal pads for VRM and memory.

Why is that? With EVGA it's really easy: SC line is reference PCB, FTW is custom design.

Well with rtx 2070 there's no SC, but XC does not seems to be reference rtx 2070 pcb. Black sure is but those XCs seems to be with modified reference rtx 2080 pcb!?

You're right, of course.
I just noticed: these things have a clear shroud because they're being offered in different trims.
