Latest Open World Warframe Expansion, Fortuna, Releases This November
Warframe is one of those games that has seen a marked improvement after its initial release. The changes to the games' systems and offering of activities is something really overwhelming, should one look at it and consider the magnitude of changes. From repeated environments and a basic MMORPG, hack/slash/shoot game that offered little to distinguish itself to the industry juggernaut it is now, Warframe has been getting better, bigger, and bolder with each subsequent release.
The new Fortuna expansion is just another step in that direction, with another huge open-world area being added to the game - after last years' Plains of Eidolon, of course. The new expansion will see an added area that is four to five times bigger than the open-world environment of Plains of Eidolon. Fortuna will push the science-fiction aesthetic farther up the hill, and will focus on Orokin-based architecture traversal as players follow the Solaris United faction's struggle against Corpus. New bounties and missions will obviously be available, and in a new high for the series, players will have access to the new K-Drive hoverboards, which will bring new ways of traversing the open world environment Oh, and... via the Codename: Railjack mission, players will be able to control a spaceship and enjoy combat in outer space. If that doesn't scream development when compared to Warframes' initial gaming environment, I don't know what does.

And yes, still a noob too. We always will be. Just when you've got your setup in order, some new grind pops up that needs to be done. DE has mastered the art of power creep in all of its diversity. And yet, you do still feel like you get stronger and actually progress. Its a neat little thing they got going on and each content update feels like a big, bigger, biggest moment.
And when you run out of things to Prime... just add Umbra. :p When you've got all the mods... just add RNG-based Riven mods... When the linear maps get old... just add some open ones. Its dead simple but the result of the whole package that is Warframe today is pretty damn awesome.
I know I should know better, but I'm still hyped for this update.
When they did that i pretty much quit the game as there was no point in me continuing solo
...I think my Kubrows are probably dead by now, and my ship is covered with dog poop and skeletons. :D
There are new Mastery farm maps in place (such as Hydron) and it is much more manageable too now. Just gotta find out the new hot spots ;)
BTW: nice sig :D
Challenge is non existent and there is no reason to stay long in missions (while enemies grow stronger) as you still get the same rewards.
Imo the lack of any sort of the challenge is what makes me not play the game atm.
This game has gone a far way compared to back then haha. Really hyped for the game
Sorry, forget to mention - power creep (second name for this game). Never invest something into something, just because a year later you get "%thing prime" that is almost same as "%thing" with 3-4 "forma", and next week "%thing" with strange name from IKEA will be twice more powerful.
