Sharkoon Rolls Out VG7-W Mid-tower Case for Value-Conscious Gamers

Sharkoon Technologies is an international supplier of PC components and peripherals which boasts performance at a reasonable price. Sharkoon introduces its new ATX midi tower: the VG7-W. This PC case combines an expressive appearance with the ideal intake of air, and despite the compact dimensions, no-one should have to make great compromises when choosing the hardware for their new system. This is thanks to a structured and roomy design inside the case provided by the manufacturer.

The side panel of the VG7-W has a large acrylic window offering a clear view of the case interior. In contrast, the front panel offers a sporty, modern appearance combined with a good airflow supported by the air-permeable mesh grille, behind which are two pre-installed 120 mm LED fans. The rear panel has another pre-installed fan to provide a constant throughput of air. Versions are available with blue, red or green illumination. A version with RGB illumination is also available.
Addressable LEDs in the RGB Version
The three fans inside the RGB version of the VG7-W are equipped with addressable RGB LEDs to synchronize illumination effects with other components via compatible mainboards (pin configuration: 5V-D-coded-G or 5V-D-G). If the mainboard does not have the appropriate header, fourteen different lighting effects can be selected via the reset switch of the case.

Removable Dust Filters and Plenty of Space for Hardware
To protect the hardware from deposits of dust, Sharkoon has incorporated dust filters covering areas of air-intake. These can be removed for easy cleaning. Despite the compact size of the case, no considerable sacrifices have to be made when configurating the hardware system. Inside, there is enough space for graphics cards with a length of up to 37.5 cm, as well as up to four SSDs, up to three HDDs and an optical drive.

Price and Availability
The Sharkoon VG7-W is already now available. The single-color versions in red, green and blue are available for the manufacturer's suggested retail price of 44.90 Euros. The VG7-W RGB is available at a suggested price of 54.90 Euros.

maybe Sharkoon want to take their case designer behind the warehouse and put him out of his misery because these are ugly cases.

Honestly... this is hideous. I wouldn't use this to build my child a new rig if it was gifted to me.

This is a case I can get behind. All the right elements of functionality/utility and good aesthetics. Power and Reset buttons on the front as well as front facing USB ports. 5.25" expansion bay and what looks like good airflow. Very nice!

+1 Couldn't have said it better myself. 5,25" is rarity lately. I find the case market really broken these days. If you want a combo like: 1x140mm spot for 140mm AIO (like NZXT x42) + PSU shroud + 2x5.25" open drive spots (fan controller + ODD drive), you can't have it. Not even the cheap cases offer this kind of usability.

I wonder how much itll cost when it gets released in my area.
kinda want to change my cm690 III for something else, but it has so much breathing room it feels like a waste.
