Kolink Launches the New Phalanx Case with Hinged Tempered Glass Panel

The new Kolink Phalanx is a great value midi-tower that comes with a range of comprehensive features, perfect for builders of all experience. The Phalanx comes with a brushed aluminum front panel, offering a customisable display through it's central mesh air-intake via four pre-installed 120mm RGB fans. These offer a full out of the box air cooling solution, as well as the ability to cycle through a range of colours using the RGB controller on it's top mounted I/O panel. Should you wish to watercool your build there's radiator slots for a 280/240mm top mount, 240mm front mount and an additional 120mm rear mounted radiator.

Internals are easily accessed by a hinged tempered glass side panel, making building a hassle free experience, with an angled motherboard mount for easy cable management. There's also a vented PSU shroud to cover components and cable management in the lower compartment, with cable routing for minimal exposure in the full build.

The Kolink Phalanx comes with a hinged tempered glass panel, this can be secured in place with two thumb screws when transporting your system or removed entirely by simply lifting it off. This gives you access to the main compartment, with a motherboard mount supporting up to E-ATX and angled for easy cable management to the rear case compartment. The Phalanx supports graphics cards up to 370mm in length, with a cooler clearance of 160 mm.

The Kolink Phalanx comes pre-installed with 4 x 120mm RGB fans, with optional top mounts for another 2 x 140/120mm. Should you choose, the front 3 x 120mm fans can also be exchanged for 3 x 140mm, with cables routed through a section in the top right of the case.

The fans are all connected into and RGB controller, this supports up to a total of 6 x 6-pin RGB fans and an additional 2 x 4-pin RGB LED strips. The bundled 3-pin connector allows users to install an RGB-LED controller/fan hub to work with a compatible motherboards, allowing for a more advanced control of the RGB lighting effects.

The Phalanx supports a range of water-cooling configurations, for builds which feature overclocked components, with radiators support for a 280/240mm top mount, 240mm front mount and 120mm rear mounted radiator.

When it comes to storage capacity, the Kolink Phalanx packs a dual 3.5"/2.5" HDD caddy with an additional 2 x 2.5" SSD mounts located on the back of the motherboard mount.

The Phalanx's top mounted I/O comes with 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0, Power, RGB controller and audio.

not a bad looking case at all imo.

My main gripe is that there is no dust filters at the front of the case, only a mesh grill to stop people sticking their fingers into the fans

I like that cable mess behind, I just can imagine when case fully loaded lol.

Btw in 2019 they still use molex power connector

Then pick a different case.

I have a friend who has a desk like this one...



And rather than putting a shelf where the books and the basket are pictured here. He puts his PC on a plank of wood and slides it out a little when he needs to access the front i/O.


There are so many hundreds of cases to suit your needs in the world. Pick the one that suits you or just mod the case if youre skilled enough. Or if you really want that case then you find a way to make it work for you which could mean modding it or positioning it where you can get to it.

I love cases with hinges, the screw ins wore on my dark base 700 fast as hell, love my 600c hinge tho

I already have a Cooler Master CM 690, and very happy with it, but has kinda of the same problem, but it sits on weels so...
