Normal tubing (flex/rigid) is far more practical in any respect. Cleaning distribution plates is absurdly time consuming, especially really complicated, giant ones, like that Core P5 from Thermalfake shown this year. Unscrewing multitude of tiny screws every year or two, cleaning acryl. Furthermore any PMMA kind of material cracks around threads in 2-3 years always at least some micro crack(s).
On top of that. Making triple sure that seal orig is where it should be when closing everything down. Everybody who took VGA block apart know how annoyingly uncooperative origns can be when putting everything back again and now magnify the scale 5, 10, 15-fold. And if you have multi-chamber plate with many orings... oh well have fun! :p Not for me.
