The Last of Us Part II is Now Gold, Ready for Publication, June 19 Release

"The Last of Us Part II" by Naughty Dog studios, is now gold (ready for publication), according to its creative director Neil Druckmann. The game will release on June 19, 2020. Druckmann appealed to gamers to not judge the game on the basis of online leaks and actually play it. "No matter what you've seen or heard or read, nothing compares to playing this game from beginning to end. It's a video game, you've got to play it," he said. The game will debut exclusively on PlayStation 4. The latest chapter in the story-driven post-apocalyptic adventure is a sequel to the 2013 original, and has you play as the 19-year old Ellie, who must survive a mysterious cult.

Last of Us 1 was my favorite game on the last console generation, and the first game I played again on 4k HDR when I bought my PS4 Pro. But if the leaks are true (which unfortunately appears to be the case), I won't touch the game and NaughtyDog is dead to me.

This is a sentiment that I agree with completely (and I am seeing echoed the internet over). I loved TLoU 1, didn't get the chance to play the HDR version as I don't have a PS4 Pro, but was a great game nonetheless. Also in agreement in relation to the leaks and the result of it. I won't be playing this game and yeah, Druckmann has killed Naughty Dog for me.

This is a time I am happy to vote with my wallet. I cancelled the Collector's edition last Thursday. My backlog is beyond extensive, and the last thing I want to do is support this agenda force feeding. I'm black, but I don't call people racist because they don't want to join the Black Panthers or Nation of Islam. I've been a Christian my whole life, but I don't push my faith on anybody. In fact my wife is Catholic and I'm not, and we attend each other's churches to be supportive. I don't have to be phobic or some ism to not agree with or promote someone else's life choices. I love and care about my friends, but sometimes they make cringy and comical life choices. This group mob mentally of pushing agendas is stupid, but it is quickly becoming the way this world wants to work. I loved the Last of Us because of the story more than the gameplay, and if I'm not feeling the story they came up with after Ann Henning left and Anita Sarkeesian weaseled her way in, I'm just going to say "No Thanks" and keep it moving. And with that I'm back to Doom Eternal, Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and Streets of Rage 4. Gotta finish those before I head back to Outer Worlds.

The last of Naughty Dog games. Story are filled with political statement. Get woke, go broke. I guess they haven't seen Battlefield V woke point to learn anything. RIP.

I agree, they seemed more focused on an agenda than making a solid game like the first. The firsts story maybe one of the most beautifully written game stories ever (At least in my opinion). I cancelled my pre-order for it as well after reading the leaks once I hear people saying how terrible it was.

The magic of crunch.

@Devastator0 regular ps4 also supports HDR. If your TV supports it you should be able to enable it.

lol that was awesome, thanks for sharing it. I've seen some other channels cover it, but hadn't seen that channel you linked before. He summed it up pretty darn accurately.
